About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Carollo Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical power systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed electrical power systems design with minimal supervision
  • Conduct load calculations, conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor
  • Field investigative and start-up experience
  • Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC
  • Familiarity with the IEEE color book series
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
  • Ability to interact positively with clients
  • 10-15 years experience working in Electrical Engineering
  • PE registration required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
