Electrician Apprentice

Mister Sparky Corporate Store is seeking a skilled Electrician Apprentice to join our team in Westminster, CO.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Lead Electricians in performing electrical repair and installation tasks for residential customers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical trade craft and be able to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.

1. Learn and apply electrical trade craft skills under the supervision of a Lead Electrician.
2. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
3. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
4. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
5. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
6. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
7. Work closely with other departments to ensure proper transfer of service work business data.
8. Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Indentured in an Electrical Apprenticeship preferred.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Knowledge of electrical field concepts, practices, best practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Solid communication and customer service skills.
• Must have appropriate trade tools.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
