Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Encourage and support individuals in their daily routines, including meal preparation, medication management, and recreational activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other support staff
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • No prior experience or education required
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, compassion, and reliability
