About the Role
The Veterans Health Administration is seeking an experienced Nocturnal Hospitalist Physician to join our team at the Marion VA Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled physician to provide high-quality care to our nation's veterans while enjoying a challenging and rewarding work environment.
About You
We are looking for a highly qualified physician who can thrive in a fast-paced nocturnal setting. As a Nocturnal Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients on the inpatient medical service, as well as consultative and co-managed care for patients on the inpatient surgery service.
What We Offer
In addition to a competitive salary of $**250,000 - $300,000 per year**, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, retirement plans, and malpractice insurance. Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical school, be board-certified in Internal Medicine, and hold a valid medical license in any US State or territory. Additionally, you must have completed residency training in Internal Medicine or its equivalent and have at least two years of experience in hospital medicine.
