Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in our walk-in clinics. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our supervising physicians to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide urgent care to walk-in patients, utilizing your expertise and clinical judgment to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with our supervising physicians to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote a culture of compassion and respect.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Maine.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • At least three years of experience in a walk-in care clinic or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
