Position Overview

Job Summary

This role is essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations within the manufacturing environment. The individual will play a pivotal role in adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards while overseeing daily production activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure personal safety and actively participate in all EHS initiatives at the facility, adhering to established policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the daily workforce scheduling to align with production demands.
  • Supervise team performance, including evaluations, attendance monitoring, and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Foster open communication and maintain daily interactions with team members.
  • Engage in problem-solving to address maintenance challenges effectively.
  • Complete all required training and contribute as a trainer when needed.
  • Oversee adherence to cleanliness and organization standards to promote a positive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of 5S and SMART practices.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with reading a tape measure is advantageous.
