About the Role- Design, build, and maintain molds, tooling, and fixtures using advanced machining and mechanical processes, methods, and techniques.
- Operate high-precision tool room equipment, including CNC Mills, CNC EDMS, and CMC Lathes, to produce complex parts and components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to mold cycling, mold function in the press, and miscellaneous tooling and fixtures, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assemble production molds, clean molds following standard procedures, and reassemble as required, maintaining a high level of quality and precision.
- Complete other duties as assigned, including creating and maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in manufacturing, tooling, or engineering.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to read and understand work instructions and perform complex calculations.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft., and walk and stand during entire shift, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
