Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide treatment for patients as per physician directives, including the recommendation and acquisition of necessary adaptive equipment.

• Set specific, measurable objectives and create individualized treatment plans aimed at helping patients achieve their highest level of independence and functionality.

• Facilitate ongoing communication with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and their families as needed.

• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation of services rendered to support accurate billing processes.

• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in patient care and related tasks, in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of practice is mandatory.

• Current BLS or CPR certification is required as per state guidelines.

• A minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy is preferred.
