Crew Leader

The Los Angeles Conservation Corps is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crew Supervisor to join our team. As a Crew Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-12 program participants in completing service projects, including trail maintenance, restoration, and park construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train crew members in work skills and safety protocols
• Coordinate and implement work projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion
• Provide guidance and support to crew members in achieving their education and development goals
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, maintaining equipment and tools as needed
• Collaborate with project sponsoring agencies and community-based organizations to achieve project objectives

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; AA or Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least 6 months experience working with young people, preferably in a supervisory role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
