Job Overview

SQA Services is a leading Supply Chain and Quality Assurance consulting firm seeking an experienced Aerospace Component Inspector to join their global team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection, with proficiency in various inspection tools and methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of precision machined parts and assemblies at client supplier locations.
  • Verify paperwork to ensure all components meet required standards.
  • Collaborate with a global team to maintain consistent quality across aerospace suppliers.
  • Deploy to supplier locations based on production schedules and client needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection.
  • Proficiency with various inspection tools and methods.
  • Experience inspecting precision machined parts.
  • Ability to read complex engineering drawings (GD&T) and use precision measuring tools.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively report on inspection and scheduling status.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel as needed.
  • US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work; background check required.
