Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Architect Lead to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will manage all facets of the design and construction processes for our projects, which encompass civil construction and government facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all projects are executed to the highest standards while complying with all relevant building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the architectural design process from initial concepts through to construction.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools to produce detailed architectural plans.
- Collaborate with a team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop effective design solutions.
- Oversee and manage all stages of the construction process, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Ensure that all designs and constructions meet the latest building codes and regulations.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government representatives.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of architects and construction professionals.
- Coordinate with various professionals, including contractors and planners, to ensure project success.
- Review architectural documents for potential conflicts across all disciplines.
- Represent the firm at meetings, presentations, and public forums.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Must hold a valid Registered Architect designation.
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural design and construction, particularly in civil projects and government facilities.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Valid NCARB certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas to clients and teams.
- Proven project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
