Key Responsibilities
  • Create a calendar of arts classes and workshops
  • Develop and teach visual arts lessons for all ages
  • Instruct students on various artistic techniques and skills
  • Organize art classes to participate in special events and exhibitions
Specific Duties
  • Provide a well-rounded and comprehensive art education
  • Teach visual arts literacy and technical artistic skills
  • Instruct and encourage students in visual arts projects
  • Prepare students for public exhibitions and displays
  • Support Salvation Army events and programs
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. They will also be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Experienced arts background
  • Ability to read music
  • Capability to work within a team environment
