Part-Time Delivery Driver Job Description

Russ' Commissary is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. As a delivery driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our stores and retail customers receive their orders promptly and with a smile.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver food orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and work area
  • Safely transport products to their destinations in a timely manner
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Pick orders with accuracy for restaurants and retail customers
  • Prepare and load trucks for deliveries
  • Receive and ship items following internal protocol
  • Document information required for shipping and receiving
Requirements:
  • Valid Chauffeur's License and clean driving record
  • Friendly and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability for weekday shifts and Sunday mornings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Pick orders with exceptional accuracy
  • Forklift operator certification (1-year preferred experience)
Physical Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day
  • Ability to walk, stand, and constantly be moving on your feet for the duration of each workday
  • Ability to work in a cold environment, as necessary
