Dining Server

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Server to join our team at Rick Erwin's Greer. As a Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and valued.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Perform side work as assigned by management, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our menu and promotions.
• Prepare final bills, present checks to guests, and process payments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and observe guests' dining experiences, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to provide exceptional service and support.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a comparable restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand the English language.
• Willingness to serve and entertain guests according to the perceived atmosphere and expectation.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor, as well as common drink recipes.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Punctuality and regular, reliable attendance, including reliable transportation.
• Honesty and integrity, with a strong work ethic.
• Good hygiene, coordination, and efficiency, with the ability to multitask and organize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact with the public in a calm, courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• ServeSafe certification is preferred but not required.
• TIPS training is preferred but not required.
