Middle School Science Teacher

Scott City Middle School is seeking a qualified Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to our students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive science curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in science education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student success.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Science Education.
- Experience teaching science to middle school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality education to all students.
