Job Title: HVAC Supervisor

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking a certified HVAC Supervisor with an active Secret clearance to lead our team in Huntsville, AL.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will oversee a team of HVAC Service Technicians and Plumbers, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. This role requires strong leadership and team management skills, exceptional customer service and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities:
  • Arrange workforce schedules for planned maintenance and service calls.
  • Offer technical assistance to HVAC technicians, the Sales team, and the Project Estimator.
  • Accompany technicians on site visits for training, job feedback, safety checks, and general communication.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of the company's vehicle fleet.
  • Review labor, materials, and notes for all completed Work Orders.
  • Examine plans, specifications, submittals, and other project documentation for proposal preparation.
  • Handle HVAC project estimation, bidding, and proposal generation.
  • Secure permits from local cities/governments when necessary.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety guidelines.
  • Monitor the progress of jobs/projects and discuss project outcomes with the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, offering technical expertise and support to potential and existing customers.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with current and potential customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations of assigned personnel as directed.
  • Oversee project labor reporting to customers.
Requirements:
  • High school/college graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.
  • 2 years of management experience.
  • 3 years working in the HVAC field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Team player, leader, and motivated to learn and take ownership and accountability.
  • Change agent, demonstrating courageous leadership driving and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Be able to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
Tools/Technology/Certifications:
  • Must be a certified HVAC Technician.
