About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their facilities are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
  • Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
  • Partner with Journeymen in the repair of centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers, and ammonia systems.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification, which is to be done after hours and weekends, is required upon hire.
  • Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Refrigeration Certification preferred.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
