As a CPS Conservatorship Specialist with the Department of Family and Protective Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in Texas. Your primary responsibility will be to work with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement plans that promote the best interests of the child.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct home visits and assessments to identify the needs of children and families
- Develop and implement case plans that address the needs of children and families
- Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to provide support and services to families
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children and families
- Provide education and support to families on topics such as parenting, child development, and safety
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
- 2 years of experience working with children and families in a social services setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
