Mission Prep, a residential program tailored for adolescents (ages 12-17) with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses, is seeking Community Coordinators to provide exceptional care. Our team of trained professionals, including case managers, therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists, collaborate to help individuals achieve a life of meaning and wellness.
About Us
We aim to provide sustainable change for adolescents and families struggling with primary mental health challenges. We treat the entire family system, allowing them to address their children's needs in a safe and sustainable way. At Mission Prep, we prepare teens for life's challenges and give families a fresh start.
Our Approach
We combine time-tested therapeutic approaches with innovative interventions. Our care is conducted with attention and purpose, from sessions with our board-certified psychiatrist to our beautiful, home-like environment that fosters a sense of belonging and connection. Every element of the family's care is designed to be built upon long after discharge. Our goal is to create a sustainable experience that sets our clients up for success.
Benefits and Perks
We offer competitive pay, ranging from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on education and experience. Additionally, full-time employees enjoy benefits such as medical, dental, and vision plans through Anthem, FSA/HSA accounts, and life/AD&D insurance. Other benefits include a 401k plan with employer match, PTO, self-care days, educational assistance reimbursement, employee assistance programs, and health and wellness membership.
Job Responsibilities
Community Coordinators will:
- Coordinate client transportation to daily activities, ensuring timely arrivals and participant safety.
- Utilize intervention and communication skills when working with clients, their families, and significant others.
- Rigorously adhere to Joint Commission policies and procedures, including Waived Testing, Infection Prevention and Control, and Emergency Management and Environment of Care procedures.
- Navigate and utilize the BestNotes electronic health record system to document client activities effectively.
- Collaborate with the program nurse and clinical team regarding medication management.
Requirements
Successful applicants must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent and possess strong communication and intervention skills. A background check and valid driver's license are also required. We prioritize candidates with a passion for helping others and providing hope to those in need.
