Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for performing x-rays, assisting physicians during office hours, and handling patient-related tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform x-rays as ordered by physicians
  • Room patients and assist physicians during office hours
  • Assist with clinical tasks, such as suture removal and drawing up injections
  • Handle patient calls and questions, taking accurate messages and relaying to physicians as needed
  • Maintain physician's clinic and surgery calendars, communicating schedule changes to others
  • Handle pre-authorizations for imaging studies
Requirements:
  • X-Ray License and ARRT Certification required
  • High school diploma/GED and 3+ years' experience in a medical office setting, preferred
  • Familiarity with various health insurances, as well as worker's comp and auto insurances
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, with computerized appointment scheduling and EMR/EHR experience a plus
