Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

This position involves providing support to maintain and improve instrument, electrical, and control infrastructure at the Ineos Group Ltd plant. The role requires working within and/or leading multi-discipline project teams to develop, execute, and implement projects that align with site and business strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe work environment by demonstrating behaviors that promote workplace safety
- Leading reliability improvement efforts and providing technical support to various engineering and field personnel
- Identifying ways to reduce cost, improve reliability, and enhance safety and environmental performance in instrument and electrical areas
- Providing technical guidance and consultation to ensure procedural compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Prior I&E experience supporting manufacturing operations
- Strong design/engineering practice skills, including instrumentation, PLC specification and programming, area classification, power distribution and control, motor controls, and lighting design
- Minimum 5 years of experience interfacing and supporting operations and maintenance teams
- Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and influence multi-disciplinary teams
Estimated Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per year
The ideal candidate will have experience working in chemical plants, refineries, or related industries, and possess strong project engineering skills. Honeywell TDC3000 and/or Experion hardware experience is desirable.
