Instrument & Electrical Engineer Role Overview

This position involves providing support to maintain and improve instrument, electrical, and control infrastructure at the Ineos Group Ltd plant. The role requires working within and/or leading multi-discipline project teams to develop, execute, and implement projects that align with site and business strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by demonstrating behaviors that promote workplace safety
  • Leading reliability improvement efforts and providing technical support to various engineering and field personnel
  • Identifying ways to reduce cost, improve reliability, and enhance safety and environmental performance in instrument and electrical areas
  • Providing technical guidance and consultation to ensure procedural compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Prior I&E experience supporting manufacturing operations
  • Strong design/engineering practice skills, including instrumentation, PLC specification and programming, area classification, power distribution and control, motor controls, and lighting design
  • Minimum 5 years of experience interfacing and supporting operations and maintenance teams
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and influence multi-disciplinary teams

Estimated Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per year

The ideal candidate will have experience working in chemical plants, refineries, or related industries, and possess strong project engineering skills. Honeywell TDC3000 and/or Experion hardware experience is desirable.
