Job Summary

The Financial Advisor at United Bank Inc works closely with the retail branch banking system to provide comprehensive investment and insurance solutions to customers. This role involves developing a referral pipeline of qualified prospects, meeting with referred customers, and analyzing customer data to determine suitable financial products. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing, servicing, and promoting the Bank's financial products to obtain new business and attain gross revenue production expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with branch employees to ensure a referral pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Meet with referred customers to discuss their financial needs and provide guidance on suitable financial products.
  • Analyze customer data to determine the best financial products for their needs and circumstances.
  • Provide ongoing education to customers on the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products.
  • Meet gross revenue production expectations through sales of financial products.
  • Responsible for marketing, servicing, and promoting the Bank's financial products to obtain new business.
  • Identify and refer qualified clients to the Wealth Management Group.
  • Account manage and refer customers with banking needs to retail banking partners.
  • Perform ongoing self-education to remain product/solution fluent and maintain licensing capability.
Requirements
  • Series 7, Series 66, Life and Health licenses required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Prior sales experience in a bank environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel daily to generate business and/or meet with clients within the given territory.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College degree and advanced designations preferred.
Essential Functions
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Ability to converse and exchange information with customers and all levels of staff within the organization.
  • Ability to observe, perceive, identify, and translate data.
  • Ability to travel via train, bus, automobile, or airplane.
