Job Summary

The Electrical Assembler III position requires proficiency through training and considerable on-the-job experience, providing solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures. This role completes work with a limited degree of supervision and regularly provides informal guidance and support to less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components per assembly drawings / bill of material.
  • Perform point to point and electrical testing on assemblies.
  • Test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria.
  • Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
  • Apply settings, calibrate and maintain assembly tools.

Requirements

  • Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule.
  • Execute daily priorities as defined by the supervisor or area lead.
  • Assemble and assist with the testing of electrical units and control systems in accordance with engineering test procedures.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement and HSSE projects.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years mechanical assembly experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • 3+ years of instrumentation and electrical experience.
  • IPC 610 & 620 Certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics.
