Pediatrician Job Description

Triad Complete Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled pediatrician to provide primary care services in the Ponca City area. As a pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing preventative care, diagnosing and managing common pediatric health issues, and ordering lab tests and prescribing medication as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and their families
  • Order lab tests and prescribe medication as needed
  • Diagnose and manage common pediatric health issues
  • Provide oversight and direction to medical assistants and nurses
  • Participate in medical directorship of the practice
  • Prescribe medication and supervise advanced practice nurse practitioners
  • Fulfill call services for the local hospital
Requirements:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution (MD or DO)
  • Board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff and the public
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Compassion and empathy for patients and their families
