Job Summary

Holy Cross Hospital - Taos is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including bronchodilators and oxygen therapy.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Ability to work 3x12 night shifts.
  • EMR experience with Evident.
  • Proof of I-9 or attestation, government-issued photo ID, and E-Verify or attestation required.
