We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in both Long Island and Manhattan locations.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, consulting physicians, and other disciplines to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Conduct thorough health histories, physical examinations, and psychosocial assessments to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications, order laboratory and diagnostic studies, and perform therapeutic measures as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current registration as a Professional Nurse in New York and registration as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical area of practice.
- At least five years of clinical nursing practice in the care of the patient population served.
- Previous experience as a nurse practitioner in a psychiatric setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
