Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

The Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to manage the day-to-day clinical and operational activities of the PBC Cincinnati/Erlanger Plants. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the health and well-being of employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site medical services to employees, including triage, treatment, and prescription medication administration.
  • Conduct health assessments, diagnose, and treat minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Develop and implement health education programs to promote employee wellness and prevent illness.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits and Safety teams to coordinate health and wellness events and initiatives.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure timely and appropriate problem resolution.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Registered Nurse license, and Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Registered/licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • National Board Certification.
  • Related experience in adult medicine.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum twelve months of related experience in adult medicine.
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine, Workers' Compensation, and DOT exams.
  • DOT Medical Examiner certification.
  • Certified Urine Drug Screen Collector certification.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction. Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s). Ability to move standard equipment through a hospital or clinical environment.
