As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and service designated rooms or areas following established protocols, which includes making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and disposing of waste.
  • May involve cleaning kitchen areas, including appliances such as refrigerators and coffee makers, as well as dishware and utensils.
  • Notify the supervisor upon completion of cleaning tasks to facilitate room availability for guests.
  • Report any rooms that cannot be serviced to the supervisor as per established guidelines.
  • Communicate any necessary repairs or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Address guest inquiries and special requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution to achieve guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and monitor housekeeping supplies and amenities, aiming to reduce waste in all housekeeping operations.
  • Document and handle lost and found items according to company procedures.
  • Encourage collaboration and high-quality service through effective communication with other departments.
  • Participate in deep cleaning projects as required.
  • May assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  • Engage in recycling initiatives and adhere to sustainability practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential. Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and push/pull loads of approximately 200 pounds.
  • Stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Handle various objects and equipment to maintain cleanliness and order.
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
