Salary and Benefits
This hourly position offers a competitive rate of $19.94/hr and excellent benefits, including 12 days' vacation and 12 days sick time annually - prorated based on standard hours.
Job Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the New Leaf Clinician, the Child Care Interventionist assumes the responsibility of providing direct, on-site support in the planning and executing of daily programs to meet the developmental needs of the total group of children in care. The candidate will follow and implement standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Vermont Department of Licensing, and the New Leaf Family Center.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in human services, education or psychology, and have equivalent experience of 2 years in early childhood development. A valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and access to a safe, reliable vehicle are also required. Familiarity with and commitment to New Leaf Family Center philosophy and goals are essential, as well as the ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs.
