Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Process prescriptions, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, adhering to Walgreens service traits and interpersonal habits.
  • Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers, identifying their needs and providing personalized support.
  • Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including inventory management and cash handling.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies and clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
