Job Summary

Mass General Brigham Home Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to patients in their place of residence. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a registered physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients with physical impairments resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs.
  • Provide physical therapy services, including application of standard treatment procedures and teaching patients and caregivers.
  • Document patient information thoroughly and timely.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in acute care, rehab, or home care as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn other software applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • Ability to work with various computer software and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices.
