Position Summary
Our client, a reputable leader in the commercial and industrial food service equipment sector, is seeking skilled Service Technicians to provide exceptional field service to valued customers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on a diverse array of Refrigeration and HVAC systems, as well as commercial kitchen appliances, including ovens and grills.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, ice machines, and HVAC units.
- Address issues with commercial kitchen appliances and cooking equipment.
- Collaborate with manufacturers, Parts Department, and Operations Department as necessary.
- Deliver outstanding service to all customers by showcasing your mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency in reading diagrams and schematics.
- Engage with manufacturers for assistance with diagnostics and parts identification.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly, including work orders, time reporting, receipts, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of technical experience with Refrigeration and HVAC systems is required.
- Universal EPA Certification is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, or kitchen equipment is preferred, though training is available.
- Must be willing to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, which may include nights and weekends.
- Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (EPA/CFESA) are advantageous.
- A valid Driver's License is essential.
