Key Responsibilities
As a CNA, you will provide care to residents under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and recording vital signs.
- Measuring and documenting height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
- Observing residents' skin condition during care and reporting any changes to the licensed nurse; providing skin care as necessary.
- Addressing residents' mental health and social service needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CNA certification MANDATORY
