Roofing Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at NW Recruiting Partners. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in connecting with new clients, assessing projects, and preparing accurate cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and project specifications.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and technical documents to determine the scope of work, required materials, and labor costs.
• Create comprehensive estimates using software tools and evaluate project risks to develop contingency plans.
• Review and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing cost control measures.

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of estimating experience, with a focus on commercial roofing estimates.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Excel, Job Nimbus, and Xactimate.
• Solid mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

• Competitive salary range: $75-85k (+commission), expected earnings on target to $100k.
