Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, maintain accurate records, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the management of pharmacy staff, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, including managing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing financial data.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
  • License: Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Criminal Background Check: Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List and no pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
