Caregiver - Senior Living Professional

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team.
Job Summary:The Caregiver will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to a consistent group of residents in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods. This includes building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living, and participating in the development of individualized service plans.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and personal care.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized service plans, including goal setting and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services, including medication management, wound care, and other medical needs.
- Respond to resident needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner, including addressing complaints and resolving conflicts.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as dementia care, medication management, and resident-centered care.
- Dedication to providing high-quality care and services to seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs and priorities, with a focus on providing individualized care and support.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with some college or specialized training in a related field preferred.
