Culinary Aide Role Overview

At American Senior Communities, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Aide to join our team. As a Culinary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals.

Responsibilities:

* Assist culinary leaders in meeting the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.

* Prepare and portion meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.

* Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.

* Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.

* Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace by cleaning equipment as needed.

Requirements:

* Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by State and Federal agencies. Certifications can be earned while employed with ASC.

* Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience.

* Required: Commitment to customer service.

* Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside culinary team and leaders.
