Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Truck Driver for over-the-road (OTR) assignments involving flatbed or step deck trailers based in our operations.

Compensation:

  • Competitive pay starting at 27% of the gross revenue per month.
  • Earnings increase with experience and performance.
  • $1200-$3500 Weekly.

Home Time and Schedule:

  • Trips last between 4 days to 2 weeks, with a minimum of 3 weeks out collectively per month required.
  • Home time is flexible and scheduled to accommodate drivers' needs while ensuring the completion of OTR assignments.

Job Requirements:

  • Safely Operate: Drive a heavy or tractor-trailer truck with a capacity of at least 40,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
  • Load & Unload: Manage cargo loading and unloading using appropriate equipment and methods.
  • Document Activity: Maintain accurate records and activity logs.
  • Report Issues: Communicate any problems or incidents to dispatch immediately.
  • Conduct Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
  • Handle Tarps & Straps: Skilled in using tarps and straps for securing various types of loads.

Qualifications:

  • License: Valid CDL Class A.
  • Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient use of driving hours.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the team and dispatcher.
  • Load Securing: Experience in strapping, tarping, and securing all types of loads on flatbed or step deck trailers.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of handling the physical demands of loading, securing, and transporting cargo.
