Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as a Nurse Navigator for our Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplant program.
Job Summary:The Nurse Navigator will play a vital role in guiding patients and their loved ones through the complexities of the allogeneic transplant journey. This individual will work closely with the transplant team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care, from pre-transplant work-up to post-transplant follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:- Support physicians, advanced practitioners, and program nurses in the coordination of allogeneic transplant services.
- Assist in the orchestration of high-risk, highly sophisticated clinical services while adhering to strict industry standards and guidelines.
- Act autonomously, using critical thinking and good judgment to manage multiple and diverse computer systems.
- Provide extensive direction and communication to patients and their families regarding non-clinical care, including testing, chemotherapy, and admission schedules.
- Maintain precise and organized records, including testing logs and program calendars.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Massachusetts.
- At least two years of experience in Hematopoietic Cell Therapy.
- Organized, with clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to learn multiple electronic platforms.
