Job Summary:
Custom Protective Services is seeking a professional Security Officer to staff one of our commercial locations in Manhattan. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and continue to meet any applicable state/city licensing requirements for Security Officers
- Be tech-savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Maintain a clean and corporate appearance
- Provide professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
- Offer courteous telephone manner
- Write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
- Provide high-quality customer service
- Interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
- Communicate clearly with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current New York State Security Guard License
- Current New York State Training Certifications (16 HR OJT and/or 8 HR Annual)
- Computer knowledge to include proficiency in Windows, MS Word, typing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pay Rate Starting: $17.43 per hour
