Job Summary:

As a Product Design and Engineering Specialist at Synectics, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and updating our products. Your goal will be to provide continued work for the rest of our company by finding cost-effective ways to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and engineer new products based on customer requests and market trends
Research and find new innovations that are cost-effective
Create technical plans for prototypes that will impress our customers
Work closely with the production team to ensure success upon roll out

Requirements:

5 years of industrial product design and engineering experience
5 years of mechanical engineering experience
Proficiency with computer-aided design software, AutoCAD and Solidworks
Proven ability to create 2D and 3D renderings
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Excellent communication skills to report to project managers and clients throughout the process

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with furniture, cabinets, retail displays, or merchandising
