We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee stair production, manage inventory, ensure timely project completion, uphold safety and quality standards, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring efficiency and smooth processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage inventory and warehouse operations effectively.

  • Foster a culture of safety, ensuring all associates are engaged in maintaining an injury-free workplace.
  • Conduct regular assessments of work processes and finished products to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Address production issues promptly and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Guide and coach team members throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced leadership and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Service-oriented mindset.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing setting with a proven track record in safety, quality, productivity, and team development.
  • Experience in Wood Products manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement tools is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Capability to navigate and access all areas of the warehouse.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position.
