Job Title: Experienced Registered Nurse Med Surg Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at American Fork Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities: * Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status, and develop individualized plans of care * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide education to patients and families * Implement and evaluate care plans, and revise as needed * Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, including adhering to regulatory standards and practicing within the scope of licensure Requirements: * Current RN license in the state of practice * Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers * Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) * Education must be obtained from an accredited institution Work Environment: * American Fork Hospital * Night Shift to 0630 * Rotating Weekends and Holidays Benefits: * Benefits Eligible - Yes Differential: * Nights/Weekends offered Physical Requirements: * Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies * Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations * Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy * Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients * Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment Location: * Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital Work City: * American Fork Work State: * Utah Scheduled Weekly Hours: * 36 We care about your well-being – mind, body, and spirit – which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package that covers a wide range of programs to foster a sustainable culture of wellness that encompasses living healthy, happy, secure, connected, and engaged.
