About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Analyst to join our Health IT team at the American Heart Association. As a Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of our Get With the Guidelines registry and other software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sr. Product Managers and the National Director for Health-IT to ensure site and user configuration in the registry platform.
  • Provide supporting registry resources to QI/BD staff, including tracking projects and performing ad-hoc analyses in Excel to evaluate progress.
  • Support the development of technological specifications for the Get With the Guidelines Registries and other software products.
  • Coordinate with software vendors to track ongoing work and deployments, and communicate enhancements and bug fixes to internal teams and external end-users.
  • Perform data analysis using high-volume clinical or programmatic datasets to support internal program evaluation and external presentations.
  • Maintain critical data entry, such as adding new users, processing new registrants for core initiatives, and supporting the QI/BD staff with site onboarding.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in public health, healthcare, inpatient quality improvement, or related field
  • Intermediate Excel skills (XLOOKUPs, creating graphs, IF formulas)
  • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate clinical information, evaluate data, present findings, and comprehend new information with exceptional analytic capacity
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new software and skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects
  • Ability to effectively work with physician experts and scientific thought leaders
