Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in overseeing the financial forecasting and reporting processes across multiple operational sites. The individual will provide critical insights and analyses of financial performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze the primary factors influencing operational expense variances compared to planned budgets and previous fiscal periods.
2. Identify customers with suboptimal performance and propose strategies to enhance profitability.
3. Deliver detailed assessments regarding the main drivers of operational expense discrepancies.
4. Engage in the recruitment, training, and management of finance personnel, including the Inventory Control Manager and finance associates.
5. Collaborate with the Inventory team to pinpoint opportunities for minimizing both operational and non-operational losses.
6. Quantify the financial implications of key initiatives aimed at controlling operational costs.
7. Partner with the Region Vice President of Finance to lead the shrink committee for the region.
8. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and ensure accuracy in reflecting trends and impacts of key initiatives.
9. Support the Region Vice President of Finance in developing the Annual Profit Plan concerning operational expenses.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics is required; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting is essential, with prior managerial experience being advantageous.

Professional Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis, capable of drawing logical conclusions and making recommendations.
- Ability to lead and manage clerical staff effectively.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
