Charge Nurse - Registered Nurse

We are looking for a committed Charge Nurse (RN) who demonstrates leadership, motivation, and teamwork. In this pivotal role, you will provide outstanding care to our residents and patients by fostering relationships and ensuring high-quality service.

POSITION OVERVIEW

If you are passionate about enhancing the lives of others, consider a position as a Charge Nurse at AHC. Your duties will include supervising caregivers, delivering personalized care to residents, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Daily responsibilities encompass directing nursing aides, administering prescribed treatments, updating care plans, and handling administrative tasks.

  • Supervise daily operations of nursing personnel
  • Deliver direct nursing care to residents
  • Revise care plans and inform healthcare providers of any changes
  • Execute administrative responsibilities and emergency protocols

EXPERIENCE, CREDENTIALS, AND EDUCATION

  • At least six (6) months of experience in a healthcare environment
  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing School
  • Valid RN license in Tennessee
  • Current CPR Certification

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability for flexible scheduling and potential overtime
  • Ability to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Some travel may be necessary

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

  • Train, schedule, and evaluate the performance of support staff
