Job Title: AWS Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Network Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure in our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy AWS network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, transit gateways, VPN connections, and Direct Connect.
  • Implement and manage network security solutions, including security groups, NACLs, AWS WAF, and network encryption to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain network automation scripts using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and scripting languages like Python to streamline deployment and management tasks.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize AWS network infrastructure for cost efficiency, latency reduction, and scalability.
  • Work closely with DevOps, application, and security teams to integrate network solutions with other AWS services, ensuring seamless connectivity and secure communications.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies for network components in AWS, ensuring business continuity.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of AWS network configurations, architectures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS networking features and best practices, recommending improvements and updates to the cloud infrastructure.
