Job Description

The Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility is seeking a skilled Resident Account Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the collection and disbursement of funds related to our residents, as well as handling and ordering commissary items. This role requires strong financial skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and disburse funds related to residents
  • Handle and order commissary items
  • Assist with bank reconciliation and financial transactions
  • Support the Finance Specialist with maintaining operational funds

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of financial accounting or accounts payable/receivable experience
  • Cash handling experience required
