Embark on a fulfilling career as a full-time Physical Therapist in our Outpatient Rehabilitation program and make a significant difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and deliver treatment based on physician referrals.
- Utilize appropriate assessment tools to perform comprehensive evaluations.
- Review patient histories to understand current diagnoses and any relevant medical background.
- Set measurable objectives and formulate treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient independence and functionality.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust goals as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team, patients, and their families regarding progress and needs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals concerning patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning.
- Recommend and assist in obtaining specialized adaptive equipment to enhance patient rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and billing in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, policies, and relevant legal regulations.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and aides in accordance with state regulations.
- Participate in staff development programs and pursue continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation as per state regulations.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in physical therapy.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological conditions is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical capability to perform job-related tasks, including lifting, standing, and mobility.
- Health screenings may be required to ensure physical capability for assigned duties.
