Position Overview- Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
The PCU RN will be responsible for managing patients in a telemetry unit that specializes in hospitalist medicine, including care for stroke and neurology patients. This unit is recognized as a primary stroke center.
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Current patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5, with a goal of 1:4.
- Flexibility to float within the unit as needed.
Important Notes:
- All requests for time off must be communicated upfront.
Compensation: The pay package is structured around 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
